오! 나의 사슴이여           Oh! my deer
오! 내 순백(純白)의 사슴이여           Oh! my pure white deer
 
무엇이 그대의 가슴을 시뻘겋게 만들었는가           What made your heart so red
나의 사슴이여                                      my deer
무엇이 그대의 두 눈 시뻘겋게 만들었는가              What made your eyes so red
나의 사슴이여                                      my deer
 
그대의 아름다운 천국 시뻘겋게 물들어 감에           My heart is burning black
나의 가슴 까맣게 타들어간다                   as your beautiful paradise gets stained with red
그대의 맑디 맑던 물가 시뻘겋게 물듬에              Black tears are flowing from my eyes
나의 두 눈에서 새카만 눈물 흐른다                            as your pure spring gets stained with red
 
 
그대의 사랑           your love
그대의 새끼           your baby
그대의 어미           your mama
그대의 아비           your papa
그대의 친우           your friend
그대의 이웃           your neighbor
그대의 남               your stranger
모두 시뻘겋게 물든다           everything gets stained with red

그대의 발 아래 짓이겨진 내 시커먼 뿔들이 슬피 울며 저 시뻘건 세상으로 꺼져가누나
My mangled black antlers under your feet fall into the red world with tears
