그대는 무섭다 한다
You say
scared
그녀의 달콤한 혀가
her sweet tongue
무섭다 한다
is scary
검붉은 포도주같은 그녀의 혀가
her sweet tongue like blackish red wine
 
그대를 하늘로 날려보냈다
sent you up to the sky
그대를 흙구덩이에 파묻었다
buried you in the dirt
미친 듯 끌고 내달리던 그녀의 혀가
her sweet tongue which had ran away dragging you
 
그대의 세상을 어지럽혔다
messed up your world
그대의 바짝 긴장한 등이
your strained back
식은 땀을 쏟으며 포도주를 찾았다
looked for the wine in a cold sweat
 
그대는 무섭다 한다
You say
scared
달콤함을 품었음이 뻔한 그 혀가
her tongue which must be bearing the sweetness
무섭다 한다
is scared
아마도 너무 달아 쓰디씀이 뻔할 그 혀가
her tongue which must be bitter in too much of sweetness

무서운 그 혀가 노래했다
the scary tongue sang
아찔한 향내의 과즙을 듬뿍 담아
with full dizzy scent juice
그 달콤함에 취해 두려움은
the fear which is drunk with the sweetness
쓰디쓸 그 검은 유혹을 연거푸 들이켰다
drank up the black bitter seduction again and again
그리고 두려움을 노래했다
and sang the fear
 
두려움은 떠내려 간다 한다
the fear is saying that it would be washed away
검붉은 웃음 소리를 타고
by the blackish red laugh
저기 휘몰아치는 검정 폭풍우 속으로
to that black raging storm
가겠다 한다
is saying that it would go
그대의 드넓었던 등이
your back which is used to be wide
쓰디쓴 향내의 과즙을 뻘뻘 흘려
잔뜩 쪼그라든다
shrank
sweating buckets of bitter scent juice
그래도
even so
간다 한다
is saying that it would go
 
내가 포근히 기대었던 그 넓은 등은
the wide back which I used to lean on
became one tiny dot
어느 새 하나의 점으로
somewhere along the line
미친 듯 쫒아 내달리던 나의 눈물진 혀는
my teary tongue which is chasing crazy
간절한 재만 토해내며
넘어지고 넘어지고 무너지고 말았다
fell, fell and finally collapsed
throwing up the desperate ashes
검붉은 재가 목구멍을 막아 버렸다
the blackish red ashes closed the throat
검붉은 재가 눈물샘을 막아 버렸다
the blackish red ashes closed the lachrymal glands
검붉은 혀가 내 몸뚱이를 그대의 무덤에 파묻어 버렸다
the blackish tongue buried my body in your grave
소리낼 수 없다
can’t shout
볼 수 없다
can’t see
살 수 없다
can’t live
 
그대의 등이 휘말린다
your back is being washed away
달콤한 혀에
by the sweet tongue
등이 침몰한다
the back is sinking
